CIMA Exam Dates

Objective Test Questions (OTQs)
Exam dates are not fixed for CIMA OTQ exams since you can schedule your exam at any time. You can simply visit CIMA’s exam booking system and choose a preferred date.
TCS recommends that you book the exam date prior to commencing preparations for each OTQ exam, since most students lack the discipline to complete studies on time, which leads to unnecessary delays in attempting OTQ exams.
Pre-booking the exam well in advance will force you to stick to a study plan and complete OTQ exams fast.
Case Study Exams
CIMA case study exams (OCS, MCS and SCS) are held four times per year, i.e., every three months. Thus, the exams are held in February, May, August, and November. Note that two pre-seens are released per case study within a given year. The pre-seen released in March is applicable for sittings in May & August and the pre-seen released in October is relevant for sittings in November & February.
Case study preparations commence after the pre-seen is released. Note that there is a duration of 6 weeks between the pre-seen release date and your exam.
